Many people get involuntarily involved with Arbitration, because a contract they signed contained an arbitration clause.
Others have come to the realization that the dispute they're having, is not worth the expense in time, money, energy, emotions,
stress, invasion of privacy of a court battle, and volutarily opt for Arbitration.
Additionally, Arbitration makes lawyers unnecessary. The parties involved do the talking. They appear before
a neutral Arbitrator. He or she will listen, ask questions, and then make a decision, called the Award.
Before the parties begin the Arbitration hearing, they sign a statement that they will accept the Arbitrator's decision
as FINAL, AND BINDING. That's the end of that! The parties can get on with living.
I was a California lawyer for thirteen years. I also volunteered as an Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Court
system. Furthermore, I helped people mediate their differences, because life is too short to live with problems and
hatred.
I am available as an Arbitrator, a Mediator, or an arbitration consultant. The latter is important if you are involved
with an Arbitration proceeding, orchestrated by one of the national or local arbitration associations. Of course, you
can go it alone. However, for very little money, the input of a professional might make all the difference.
